This unusual yet magical Disney water park has snowy surroundings and sandy beaches.  The water slides have been made in the style of ski slopes and there are even ski lifts to take you to the top of the mountains!  Not like the relaxing tropical paradise of Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard beach is a park more suited to the wild riders!

If you are not a wild rider then you can relax on the Cross Country Creek.  This winding river takes you all the way around the park so you will have no problem finding your way back to your seat!

The slides and rides at Disney's Blizzard beach are exhilarating! Summit Plummit takes you down vertically at speeds of upto 55mph, it is not for the lighthearted.

There are also plenty of chances to race each other on inner tubes and even toboggan! Blizzard beach is voted one of the top water parks in the US and the fast paced water slides live up to the reputation.

Tike's Peak offers the younger children an area of their own where they can have fun on the small slides and play in the fountains.

Blizzard Beach has so much to offer and you will be able to discover more of the magic when you visit on your Disney vacation.

Handy Tips

*  The ski lifts are an ideal way to reach the top of the Bizzard Beach as the only other way up is by foot.

*  Arrive early and you will be able to get a good sunbathing spot. 

*  There are some excellent photo spots, especially at the top of the Blizzard Beach where youcan look out over the entire Disney resort
